The objective of this chapter is to analyze the contributions of a feminist approach to the creation of a critical pedagogy for Media Education 2.0. To achieve this, the contributions of feminism to the study of media are analyzed, and foundations are suggested for the construction of a feminist pedagogy of media. Critical concerns are outlined, and proposals are made for the construction of didactic methodologies coherent with theoretical assumptions and based on a critical approach. Youth engagement in new media narratives is especially underscored with a focus on the creation of more equitable forms of democracy.
