Abstract

In the twenty-five years since The Break-Up of Britain was published, Scotland has achieved devolution. The Scottish Parliament was intended to prevent the disintegration of the United Kingdom; however, in an t:ra of globalisation. Scottish nationalism may become yet more attractive as a means of resisting US hegemony.
