Abstract

This text aims to present an overview of the Arabic epigraphy of Cordoba, from the 8th century until the end of the Andalusian stage of the city, in the 13th century. Emphasis is placed on the initial periods, treated by the most recent research, and on those in which Cordoba, as the capital of al-Andalus, set the standards in the epigraphic sphere.
