This chapter highlights my lifelong journey of learning, investigation, and discovery that led to the development of my thesis topic. My own observations of and experiences as a student, student teacher, teacher, and administrator within preservice teacher education were woven together into a thesis topic. The projected outcome was to be able to enhance the learning processes for preservice teachers, teacher educators, and supervising teachers through round table discussions between these groups of people to enhance understanding of creativity, creative thinking, and the curriculum. In sharing my life journey, I reveal how my thesis topic grew out of my own lived experiences and how I arrived at the conclusion that I will never grow up because I will continue to observe, investigate, discover, learn, and grow.
