Our chapter focuses on the StoryWalk® pedagogy whereby the pages of a book are displayed sequentially on physical signs that are mounted into metal stands and can be displayed in outdoor and indoor spaces. We explore the implementation of the StoryWalk® pedagogy in a variety of early childhood spaces and sites and discuss the potential for early literacy. We focus on one selected informational text and highlight how this StoryWalk® project led to dialogue on inclusivity, child activism and representation.
