Abstract

Action research is acknowledged as an effective means for practitioners to generate new understandings about their praxis, including how culture and context mediate children’s development and learning. This chapter utilizes data from focus group interviews with 15 educators to examine transformative considerations and practices associated with participating in an action research inquiry during the final year in a masters in early childhood program online.
