Abstract

Using the emerging 3D-technology curriculum developed by Snow Yunxue Fu of the Department of Photography and Imaging at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University as an exemplar of a technology-based experimental art program in higher education, where STEAM strategies thrive, the authors propose that higher education programs can inspire K−12 educators seeking to develop STEAM curricula. The case study focuses on a central class project in which Fu incorporates cutting-edge virtual reality, Web 3.0 technologies, and collaborative learning strategies to prepare her students for the future.
