This chapter is part of the author’s PhD project that investigates the relationships between learning space and student learning in higher education. The project draws on theories in educational psychology and emphasises the student view and experience. Based on the empirical findings, an integrated model is developed by teasing out the key constructs and depicting the likely relationships between them. The model highlights the integration of physical space into the overall learning context and the complexity of student learning processes. It seeks to provide an insight into the dynamic interplay between learning space and student learning in higher education and contribute to our understanding of the pedagogy-space-learning nexus as a whole.
