Abstract

In this commentary piece I respond to the work of Lise Claiborne () on tertiary education students and Maria Kecskemeti () on secondary education students, focussing on ways that educators have pursued the goals of inclusive education. New materialist approaches invite us to extend our awareness to the multiple forces at play, while also drawing us back into each present moment in which we generate, again and again, the capacity for living justly.
