Abstract
This brief introduction has two parts. The first is devoted to the contributors—what their disciplines are and where the contributors are located. This indicates Turner’s interdisciplinary influence and his international reputation. It also surveys their responses to questions about Turner’s general and specific impact on their work and what they consider to be his most important or influential contribution to scholarship. The second part is a brief overview of the contributors’ chapters.
