Abstract
The tablet BM 120015 is an unpublished interlinear Sumero-Akkadian personal prayer. It is an Old Babylonian version of the first-millennium prayer known as gi-izi-lá gùr-ru “(I am) carrying a torch”. In this paper, we discuss the orthography and grammar of the Akkadian and the Sumerian text of the prayer and analyze its content. The edition and translation of the OB version, accompanied by a philological commentary, come next. In the Discussion, we outline the multifarious changes that occurred in the transmission of the prayer from the second millennium to the first millennium—both in its Sumerian and Akkadian versions. The function of the imprints of fingernails found on the OB tablet is also examined.

اللّوحة المسماريّة BM 120015 من المتحف البريطانيّ (الّتي تُنشر هُنا لأوّل مرّة) هي عبارة عن صلاة بلغتين، السّومريّة والأكاديّة. هذه نسخة من الفترة البابليّة القديمة للصّلاة من الألفيّة الأولى قبل الميلاد المعروفة باسم gi-izi-lá gùr-ru ״أحمل المشعل״. في هذا المقال يتمّ تناول الخطّ والنّحو للنّصّين، السّومريّ والأكاديّ، لهذه الصّلاة ومن ثمّ تحليل مضمونها. يتمّ عرض النّصّ المحقَّق في المقال مع التّرجمة والتّعليق عليه. في المناقشة الختاميّة سيتمّ وصف العديد من الاختلافات (في النّسختين، السّومريّة والأكاديّة) الّتي وقعت في نصّ الصّلاة خلال تأريخها الطّويل، من الألفيّة الثّانية وحتّى الألفيّة الأولى قبل الميلاد. يُختتم المقال في بحث ومناقشة بصمات الأظافر الموجودة على اللّوحة.
