Abstract
The paper surveys two repetitions that frame the sections of the cosmogony and the anthropogony in Enūma Eliš (IV 105–134 and V 67–84; V 113–130 and VI 39–58). In light of the duplications and inconsistencies that are caused by these repetitions, as well as the distinct content present in the cosmogony and the anthropogony in comparison to other parts of Enūma Eliš, this paper suggests that these resumptive repetitions serve the author as an editorial technique to integrate secondary material into an existing continuum at a relatively-later stage of the formation of Enūma Eliš.

המאמר דן בשני מקרים של חזרות טקסטואליות באנומה אליש, אשר תוחמות את הקוסמוגוניה (לוח ד׳, שו׳ 105–134 // לוח ה׳, שו׳ 67–84) והאנתרופוגוניה (לוח ה׳, שו׳ 113–130 // לוח ו׳, שו׳ 39–58). לאור הכפילויות, הסתירות והקשיים ברצף שיוצרות החזרות הללו, מוצע שאלו שימשו את המחבר כ׳חזרות מקשרות׳, דהיינו אמצעי עריכה לשילוב חומר משני. מסקנה זו עולה בקנה אחד עם התכנים הייחודיים המשתקפים בסיפורי בריאת העולם והאדם התחומים באותן חזרות מקשרות, ויש בה כדי ללמד פרק בהתהוות היצירה אנומה אליש.

يتناول المقال الحاليّ تكرارين في نصّ ملحمة إنوما إليش اللّذين يحدّان أجزاء قصّتي خلق العالم وخلق الإنسان (4، 105-134؛ 5، 67-84؛ 5، 113-130؛ 6، 39-58). يقترح المقال اعتبار هذين التّكرارين منهجا تحقيقيّا يتيح للمؤلّف إضافة نصّ فرعيّ إلى سياق السّرد في نصّ المؤلَّف، وذلك في مراحل متأخّرة نسبيّا من الكتابة. يُفحص هذا الاحتمال على ضوء الازدواجيّات والتّناقضات تتسبّب من هذين التّكرارين، إلى جانب المحتوى الفريد للأقسام المتعلّقة بقصّتي خلق العالم وخلق الإنسان مقارنة ببقيّة أقسام المؤلَّف.
