European Journal for the History of Medicine and Health (EHMH) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to all aspects of the history of medicine and health. EHMH welcomes submissions from all regions and covering all eras of the history of medicine and health including social history, cultural history, history of ideas, material studies, science and technology studies, microstudies, ethnological and environmental approaches. The journal publishes original articles, review articles, discussions, editorials, invited articles, book reviews, and regional or national focus articles on the history of medicine and health.

Regular submission is in English only. The editors invite, however, preliminary submissions in any European language. After initial evaluation and review, article translation will be arranged by the Author(s) and Editor(s), possibly followed by a second review. Articles published in the journal will be in English while the abstracts will be published in English as well as in the language of origin. The original version of the article in the language of origin may appear online.
