A comparison of the two texts side by side furnished the indisputable proof that this manuscript containing the Devanāgarī text is the original text of Thomas Stevens’ Opus magnum.’ The references at soas are ms 12104 (Ādī Purāṇa) and ms 12230 (Deva Purāṇa).
