Abstract

International human rights law has yet to deliver on its promise to Third World women. This short essay focuses on the challenges that the concerns of Third World women pose to TWAIL scholars. Considering the continuing marginalisation of many women, the essay suggests the need to strengthen critical feminist TWAIL perspectives in order to contribute significantly to the overall TWAIL agenda and international human rights law.
