Abstract

Different types of behaviour of the genus Euphaedra Hbn. has been noticed in its natural habitat, viz. the lowermost strata of the rain forest, and outside this habitat. Observations, which might serve to explain these differences in behaviour, are made on several species of the genus under varying conditions of temperature, relative humidity and sun and shade in an experimental cage.
