Abstract

Trechus tenoensis n.sp. is described from Tenerife; T. felix antonii Jeannel is regarded as a proper species and T. atlanticus Pawlowski as a synonym of T. flavocircumdatus Jeannel. Elytral chaetotaxy in the flavolimbatus-group and affinities of T. laureticola Jeannel are discussed. A key is given for the Tenerife species.
