Abstract

The genus Calolampra Saussure is restricted to Australia. The non-Australian species that have been placed in Calolampra belong to other genera, as follows: C. characterosa (Walker) (India, Ceylon), is a Calolamprodes Bey-Bienko; C. guttifera Hanitsch (Sarawak) is a Princisola Gurney and Roth; C. marginata (Brunner) (Burma) belongs to Juxtacalolampra, n.gen.; C. obscurifron (StÅl) is a Howintoniella, n.gen. — Based on its description, Calolampra simlansis Baijal and Kapoor (India) is assigned to the genus Rhabdoblatta, Kirby. Three species, viz., Calolampra limbata Hanitsch (Singapore), C. nitida Hanitsch (Sarawak), and ?Calolampra malaisei (Princis) (Burma) are considered to be incertae sedis. — A key is given to the genera discussed and the following species are redescribed: Calolamprodes laevis (Brunner), Calolamprodes characterosa (Walker), Juxtacalolampra marginata (Brunner), Princisola guttifera (Hanitsch), Howintoniella obscurifrons (StÅl), Calolampra limbata Hanitsch, and ?Audreia malaisei Princis.
