Descriptions and redescriptions of Trichopria species from Africa and the Oriental & Australian regions (Hymenoptera, Proctotrupoidea: Diapriidae)

Lectotypes and paralectotypes were designated for the following species, which are redescribed: Trichopria stratiomyiae Kieffer (Algeria, ex. Stratiomyia anubis Wiedemann), T. kenyae Kieffer (Kenya) and T. alticola Kieffer (Kenya). Described as new is T. fumipennis n.sp. (Gabon) reared from puparia of Drosophila libellulosa Tsacas & Legrand which is an egg-parasite of Malgassophlebia aequatoris Legrand (Odonata). T. longula Sundholm (S. Africa, Natal) is found in numbers in The Gambia, W. Africa. T. tachinidarllm Ferrière (Java, ex. tachinid puparia) is redescribed and compared to T. billaevora n.sp. (New Caledonia) reared from the tachinid Billaea agrianomei Musil.
