Abstract

Two new genera and five new species of Scelionidae are described from the African continent: Stenotelea palustris n. gen., n.sp. (The Gambia, Ivory Coast), and Anthonyon n. gen. with mandibulatum n.sp. (type species; Zimbabwe), altifrons n.sp. (Somalia), spinipes n.sp. (Somalia) and cephalotes n.sp. (Sierra Leone). The higher classification of the new genera is discussed.
