Abstract

Saldula ambigua sp.n. is described from southern Primorski Region, USSR. The relationships of the new species are not quite clear (only female known). It is compared with the opacula species group and Saldula guamensis Drake & Hottes. The distribution of some somatic characters within the Saldula-Micracanthia complex and their taxonomic significance are briefly discussed.
