Abstract

Generic characters for the genus Episymploce are presented. The following 5 known species are redescribed: javana (Hebard) (Java); mjoebergi (Hanitsch) (Sumatra); simplex (Hanitsch) (Sumatra); sundaica (Hebard) (Java, Kalimantan, Laos, North Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Okinawa, Philippines, Sabah, Sarwak, Sumatra, Taiwan, Thailand); ridleyi (Shelford) (Singapore, Sumatra). A key is given for the 5 taxa treated in this paper.
