Abstract

Four new nearctic species belonging to the Cryptochironomus fulvus species complex are discussed. The male imago, pupa and larva of C. curryi; the male and female imagines, pupae and larvae of C. conus, C. eminentia, and C. ramus are described and important taxonomic features figured. Preliminary keys to male imagines and pupae of the known nearctic species in the complex are given.
