Abstract

Chrysocharis elongata (Thomson) parasitises Phyllocolpa leucosticta (Hartig) and C. pontaniae sp.n., which is described, is a parasitoid of Pontania. Species of Chrysochuris have not been previously associated with gallicolous or leaf-rolling sawflies. Biological data are given for both species of Chrysocharis, and for Entedon heyeri (Ratzeburg) which attacks Apion minimum Herbst, an inquiline curculionid in galls of Pontania collactanea (Förster).
