Abstract

Fifteen new species of Docalidia are described and illustrated. These are bracchia, temeratis, spira, and morosa from Ecuador, simplex from Ecuador and Peru, ampla, nitida, paraserra, tenuatis, steveni, dextra, oblonga, paradiscissa, adami from Peru and matthewi from Venezuela. Docalidia zanoli Nielson is a lapsus calami and is emended as follows: Docalidia zanolae Nielson.
