Abstract

Eleven species of Lithobius and three of Lamyctes are recorded from the Canary Islands, Lithobius comsimilis Eason, sp. n., L. canariensis Eason, sp. n. and Lamyctes mauriesi Demange, 1981, for the first time. These three species are described. Several species are recorded as new for one or more island. A key is provided for the identification of all the species recorded.
