Abstract

Diagnostic characters are given for the Australian cockroach genus Choristima Tepper. There are at least 12 species, of which 9 are described as new. Choristimodes Hebard is synonymized with Choristima. A key is given to identify the adults. Subfamily placement of Choristima and its closely related genera is discussed.
