Abstract

The Oriental species of the Hermetia bicolor group are revised. Of four species recognized two are described as new: H. pahangensis sp.n. from Malaysia and P. woodleyi sp.n. from the Philippines. Descriptions, illustrations of the male terminalia and distribution data are given and an identification key to all the species is included.
