Abstract

Morphology of the alimentary organs was studied in Ascalaphus Fabr. cf. africanus (McL.) (Ascalaphidae); Myrmeleon obscurus Ramb., Neuroleon sp. and Palpares sp. (all Myrmeleontidae). The male reproductive organs were investigated in the Neuroleon sp., M. obscurus and Palpares sp., the female organs in the Neuroleon and Ascalaphus species. Details of the histology of alimentary organs in Neuroleon sp. and of the bulbus ejaculatorius in the Palpares sp. are given.
