Abstract

The Silvestridia complex comprises the Protura with only one seta on the abdominal legs II and III and with an extreme reduction of the labial palp. 3 genera with 7 species have been described; their description and synonymy are given together with a key. Two names in genus Silvestridia, kaguya Imadaté and kunsti Nosek, have been sunk into synonymy.
