Abstract

Phytomyza hedingi Rydén has been rediscovered in central Iceland, in association with Gnaphalium norvegicum Gunn. The structure of the male aedeagus shows that it is a valid species. A full redescription is given. The species is also reported from the mountains of Southern Norway.
