Abstract

Two new species of Eurytoma Ill. are described, viz. E. oliphantis n.sp. from Sudan, Africa, reared from Eragrostis tremula and E. asphodeli n.sp. from the Mediterranean region, Ibiza, reared from the seed capsule of Asphodelus microcarpus. The latter species belongs to the robusta-group and some taxonomical notes including a key and figures on this group are presented. It seems as if both carnivorous and herbivorous species occur in the robusta-group.
