Abstract

Seven spp of Coniopterygidae are listed. Three of these are represented by females and could not be identified. Coniopteryx (Holoconiopteryx) tenuicornis Tjeder is previously recorded from East and South Africa and Helicoconis (Fontenellea) iberica Ohm from Spain. Aleuropteryx arabica n.sp., A. felix n. sp. and Semidalis arabica n. sp. are new. The description of the female of Coniopteryx bicuspis Tjeder was found to refer to a specimen of C. tenuicornis.
