6. New Hydrocyphon species from the Mediterranean area. Three new Mediterranean species of the genus Hydrocyphon are described: H. finitimus n.sp. and H. rivulorum n.sp. from SW Turkey, and H. fulvescens n.sp. from Spain. H. finitimus is very closely related to H. segrex Nyholm in the australis group, whereas H. rivulorum and H. fulvescens belong to the deflexicollis group. Within this group H. rivulorum occupies a rather isolated position as regards the structure of the penis; H. fulvescens is distinguishable from its allies even externally through its pale coloration. 7. On the identity of Cyphon hydrocyphonoides Tournier. In a paper published in 1967, the present author stated that Cyphon hydrocyphonoídes Tournier, 1868 is not a Cyphon. but belongs to the genus Hydrocyphon. From the description alone, however, he was unable to establish the identity of the species concerned. After examining a specimen in the M. Pic collection, Paris, labelled "Cyphon hydrocyphonoides" and most likely representing one of Toumier's two original specimens, the author now could identify Tournier's Cyphon hydrocyphonoides as a Hydrocyphon belonging to the pallidicollis group and recorded so far from Sicily and Calabria. A redescription of the species under the name of Hydrocyphon hydrocyphonoides (Toumier) is given and the above-mentioned specimen in the Pic collection is designated as lectotype.
