James Crossley has done our work the honour of engaging it in a manner that is both critical and fair, and for that we are grateful. He actually not only engages the book but expands to discuss the current state of historical Jesus research. This would make for a fascinating discussion, but one which would go far beyond the limits of this response. He may find that we would agree on more than he might think.
