On 11 November 2001, Shi Guangsheng, as Chinese Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, signed the Protocol on China's Accession to WTO and presented to Jiang Zemin ratifying China's entry into WTO. United States and Japan have separately a high extent of foreign trade dependence beyond 20%.
