Within the UK church there is a growing concern that there is a missing generation of people not attending regular worship. This is defined as young adults or people within the 18-39 age range.1 This article seeks to explore reasons for this decline through an ongoing research project that aims to help churches to understand this age ranges attitudes towards church and plan ministry accordingly. This article offers new insights into the generational make up of this age group as well as putting forward how these findings affect our youth ministry field.
