Abstract

In this article the author studies a new witness (Vaticanus gr. 1825) of Hesiod's Theogony that has been overlooked by recent editors of Hesiod's poems. It is a reliable testimony that should be preferred over one of its apographa, Laurentianus Conv. Soppr. 15, frequently quoted in West's edition.
