The Rhythm Production and Perception Workshop (RPPW) was founded over 30 years ago with the intention of discussing the science behind sensorimotor synchronization and timing perception. Since then the meetings have continued on a biannual basis in numerous European locations. What started out as an informal forum for a small number of scientists has grown into a highly diverse conference, attended by researchers in the areas of neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, ethnomusicology, and beyond.
