The book series Iran Studies is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of Iran and the Persianate world. Brill welcomes proposals from every branch of the social sciences and humanities, including history, literature, history of art and architecture, intellectual history, sociology, political science, religious studies, anthropology and economics. The series includes monographs, thematic collections of articles, handbooks, text editions of primary source materials, and occasional translations. All volumes are peer-reviewed and are aimed at a better understanding of Iran and the Persianate world, its past and its present.
