Biographical Note
Alexander Vovin, Directeur d'études en linguistique du Japon et de l'Asie du Nord-Est, EHESS/CRLAO, Paris, has published extensively on Japanese, Ainu, Korean and Tungusic, as well as other languages of East and Inner Asia.
