Shervin Farridnejad, Ph.D. (2014), University of Göttingen, is a post-doc researcher and staff member at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Vienna and at the Free University of Berlin. He has published monographs and articles on the Zoroastrian and Judeo-Persian literature, manuscript cultures and iconography, including Die Sprache der Bilder: Eine Studie zur ikonographischen Exegese der anthropomorphen Götterbilder im Zoroastrismus (Harrassowitz 2018).
