Over the past decades, Korea has gradually risen to become one of the global representatives of Asian culture. Youngna Kim, Ph.D. (1980), is professor emerita of Art History at Seoul National University. She also served as the director of the National Museum of Korea (2011-2016). Her publications comprise several books and many articles, which include Twentieth Century Korean Art (Laurence King, 2005).
