Sviatlana Karpava (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics/Multilingualism at the Department of English Studies, University of Cyprus. Her areas of research are applied linguistics, first/second, heritage language acquisition, bilingualism, multilingualism, sociolinguistics, teaching/education, digital literacy, family language policy.
