Maja Stanivuković was born in 1963 in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
She obtained her BA from the University of Novi Sad, followed by an LLB and Magister of Law degrees from the same institution. She later obtained an LLM from Cornell University and earned her PhD from the University of Novi Sad. Additionally, she holds a Diplôme d’Université de troisième cycle de droit nucléaire international from the University of Montpellier.
Throughout her career, she served as a Professor of Law at the University of Novi Sad from 1995 to 2024. During her tenure, she held various leadership roles including Vice Dean from 2000-2002 and Head of the Department of International Law from 1999 to 2002, 2009 to 2015 and 2018 to 2020.
She has served as an arbitrator in over forty international commercial and investment arbitrations. She is a member of the ICCA and the Serbian Arbitration Association. She served as President of the Belgrade Arbitration Center from 2013 to 2024 and currently holds the position of Vice-President. She was also a Member of the Council for Private International Law, an Advisory Body to the Government of the Republic of Serbia from 2011 to 2016. She actively contributed to legislative efforts, participating in the working groups drafting the Arbitration Act of Serbia and the Private International Law Act of Serbia.
She represented Serbia at the UNCITRAL General Assembly in June and December 2007 and 2017. She was also a member of the Working Group drafting HCCH Judgments Convention from 2014 to 2015. Furthermore, she served as a Consultant to the International Atomic Energy Agency from 2008 to 2010. She is an author and editor, having published fourteen books and contributed over 130 articles and book chapters.

Anselmo Reyes was born in Manila on 22 November 1959.
He graduated with an AB (Economics) from Harvard College in 1980. He received a BA (Law), an LLM and a PhD (Law) degree from Cambridge University in 1982, 1983 and 1987 respectively. He practised as a barrister in Hong Kong from 1989 to 2003, taking silk in 2001. He was a judge of the Hong Kong High Court from 2003 to 2012, during which time he oversaw the Construction and Arbitration List (2004-2008) and the Commercial and Admiralty Lists (2008-2012). He was Professor of Legal Practice at Hong Kong University from 2012 to 2018 and Representative of The Hague Conference on Private International Law’s Regional Office for the Asia Pacific from 2013 to 2017. He became an International Judge of the Singapore International Commercial Court in January 2015 and a member of the International Commercial Expert Committee of the China International Commercial Court in 2018. He was a Visiting Professor at the Law Faculty of Doshisha University from 2022 to 2023. He is an Overseas Bencher of the Inner Temple. He currently practises as an international arbitrator.
