General Course on Public International Law
, Philippe Cahier

The topic of this course by Philippe Cahier, Professor at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, is to verify if international law, when taking into account its origins, has undergone substantial modifications following the second World War and the radical changes it provoked, or if, when we look beyond the often hasty criticism to which international law is subjected, these modifications are in fact minor, given the need for international law to adapt to new requirements. Philippe Notebook chooses to devote his general course on public international law to what he considers the fundamental elements of international law, that is, the sources of international law, responsibility and dispute settlement. The discussion of these subjects is preceded by a study of the major principles of international law.
