The Journal of Youth and Theology is an international peer-reviewed academic journal developed and originally published by the IASYM, the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry, now published by Brill. The journal aims at furthering the academic study and research of youth and youth ministry, and the formal teaching and training of youth ministry. The academic efforts are rooted in the Christian theological tradition and ecumenical. The scope of the journal is to serve scholarship in the broad field of children, youth, faith, church, theology and culture. Research articles in the journal mainly have theology (both practical, systematic and biblical theology) as a core discipline. At the same time, contributions are often interdisciplinary, which implies theological reflection combined with e.g. pedagogical, sociological or psychological perspectives.

Founded in 1969 by Walter Brandmüller and Remigius Bäumer, the journal "Annuarium Historiae Conciliorum" has been published by Ferdinand Schöningh ever since 1971. Since its establishment more than forty years ago, the journal has become the most significant international forum for publications in the field of Council history. "Annuarium Historiae Conciliorum" targets (church) historians, theologians (esp. historians of theology), libraries as well as university institutes.

The journal "Archiv für Katholisches Kirchenrecht" was founded in 1856. It is the oldest canonist scientific periodical worldwide and it is published in two bound volumes per year a posteriori. In 1993 the journal was awarded with the Premio »Arturo Carlo Jemolo« not only because of its continuity and the abundance of articles but also because of the effort to maintain a constant cultural »aggiornamento« in the publication of mainly canonist writings.

A Journal of Contemporary Approaches
Biblical Interpretation publishes articles on various aspects of critical biblical scholarship as a part of the humanities or social sciences within a complex global context. The journal provides a medium for the development and exercise of a range of current interpretive trajectories, as well as deliberation and appraisal of methodological foci and resources. Alongside individual essays on various subjects submitted by authors, the journal welcomes proposals for special issues that focus on emergent interdisciplinary themes and analytical trends.
Over the past two decades, Biblical Interpretation has provided a professional forum for pushing the disciplinary boundaries of biblical studies: not only in terms of what biblical texts mean, but also what questions to ask of biblical texts, as well as what resources to use in reading biblical literature. Likewise, the journal conceives of "biblical literature" expansively to include ancient literature adjacent to or affiliated with the biblical canon. The journal has thus the distinction of serving as a site for theoretical reflection and methodological experimentation. For example, recent articles have explored queer temporalities, disabilities studies, masculinities studies, animal studies, and trauma theory to list a few examples of such theoretical and methodical boundary-pushing.

Individual articles will speak to the broad spectrum of Quaker belief and practice, to the significance of the history of Quaker traditions, and to the many areas in which Quaker Studies contributes to other fields in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Work on Quakerism impacts both wider church history and theological debate, as well as current themes in the sociology of religion. The Quaker attitude to spiritual equality also engages women’s studies scholars, and the Quaker commitment to peace and social justice relates to wider issues of political theory and peace studies.
