The African Studies Companion Online is part of African Research Online.

This new edition of the African Studies Companion Online brings together a wide range of sources of information in the African studies field. It builds on four previous editions of the African Studies Companion, the award-winning publication initiated by Hans Zell. Published in print and online until 2006, this new edition is published electronically only.

This is the first Western-language online reference guide focusing exclusively on Chinese literature from ca. 700 B.C. to the early 7th century. The database contains 1715 entries on major and minor writers, literary forms and "schools", and important Chinese literary terms.

In addition to providing authoritative information about each subject, it includes detailed, up-to-date bibliographies and source information.

Basilica Online is a fully-searchable online edition of the 17 volumes of the Basilica text and its scholia, as edited between 1945 and 1988 by H.J. Scheltema, D. Holwerda, and N. van der Wal.
