This book, the second of two peer-reviewed volumes, explores a variety of issues and directions in arts education research across Canada. This volume is dedicated to the members of the Arts Teachers and Researchers Society (ARTS)/La societé des chercheurs et des enseignants des arts (SCEA) who have willingly shared their research since the founding of the society in 1999–2000. The Arts Teachers and Researchers Society (ARTS)/La societé des chercheurs et des enseignants des arts (SCEA) is a Special Interest Group (SIG) within the Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies (CACS), which is in turn, a constituent association of the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE).
