Acknowledgements
We express our profound gratitude to all Ukrainians who have been fighting for their country and guarding the world’s security and peace at tremendous cost. Many heroes have fallen for the peaceful future of the global community. Standing up against the aggressor and protecting sovereignty and dignity is a very noble deed of being human.
We thank those who support Ukraine in these hard times – international brothers and sisters whose empathy, encouragement and assistance allow us to educate children with disabilities, train teachers, research ways of integrating veterans, internally displaced persons and those millions affected by the war, and further pursue inclusion and equity.
We wish to acknowledge the invaluable collaboration of all the authors who contributed chapters to this book.
The edited book has become possible by the generous assistance from reviewers, experts and educators, especially Piotr Mazur, Olesia Smolinska, Renáta Tichá and Clayton Keller. We would like to extend our gratitude to the hosts and participants of 2016 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Anniversary Inclusive Education Fellowship Program for the invaluable glimpse into international perspective and ongoing collaboration.
The editors dedicate the volume to the 85th anniversary of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine) and express their thanks for coordination and assistance.
We are profoundly thankful to truly brilliant people at Brill for accepting the manuscript. It is a huge support and powerful motivation for further scientific and methodological endeavors in the development of inclusive education.
We thank the international learning community for supporting Ukraine on its path towards democratic values and priorities in education. May our work encourage the already qualified as well would-be educators to make the world a good and safe place for ALL!
